Economists across the world, welcome!
Here at the Post-Crash blog, we aim to open a space for new economic thinking, a space for us all to discuss and engage in economics in a way that our formal, academic studies do not yet allow for. For it is our belief that the academic sphere of Economics rests in an out-dated mangle of blind cobwebs, covered in the rust of theoretical unilateralism and unable, in its breathtaking ignorance, to satisfy our thirst for true economic argument and debate.
To help rescue our beloved subject from the murky depths of academic poverty, to reignite the economic lecture-hall with the sparkle of competing intellectual thought and debate, we at the Post-Crash Economics Society write to you, in the hope that with the help of this very page, we can win the fight for an honest, open, and daringly critical Economics upon the academic stage. We’ll be posting links to videos, essays of our own and others, and commentaries on our own society’s events and just about anything we find relevant.
If you would like to join us in our pursuits, be it through writing an article, offering a brief commentary or to offer an idea, please do get in touch via email: post.crasheconomics@gmail.com
